CombPool — solo BTC + pooled COMB

How to mine

No signup. The COMB address in your miner username is your payout registration; the pool never needs — and must never be given — any private key.

1. Get a COMB address

Generate a key in your haircomb wallet (combfullui: Wallet → generate) and use its public address — 64 hex characters.

2. Optional: a BTC address

The BTC subsidy is a solo lottery: it pays whoever finds the block, at the bech32/bech32m address in that miner's username (minus the 0.00% operator cut).

3. Connect

stratum+tcp://<pool-host>:48331, any password, username:

Difficulty is automatic (vardiff, one share per 10s, floor 1; suggest_difficulty honored). Shares are weighed at the difficulty they met, so vardiff never changes what you earn per hash.

Each job's payout stack is fixed when that job is advertised. Accepted shares enter a later scheduled payout refresh; they cannot alter work miners are already hashing.

How payouts work

PPLNS: each found block's COMB emission is split pro-rata over the last shares whose difficulty sums to the window size. The split is committed inside the block's own coinbase, so it settles the moment the block is mined, confirms after 6 blocks, and cannot later be altered by the pool. The off-chain proof must still be retained and published.

To collect: look up your address on the Pool tab and download the proof for each round that paid you. Importing the proof lets the funds appear at your address.

combfullui import workaround: Import exactly one proof line at a time, top-to-bottom, and wait for that import to complete before submitting the next line. Do not bulk-paste or bulk-import proof lines (including with Import File). The current funded bulk importer has an upstream concurrency issue.

Audit us

Every round page offers the full stack download and re-derives the claim commitment from it; compare that against the first P2WSH output of the block's coinbase in any explorer. Once downloaded, the distribution is independently auditable. Keep your own copy because the chain commits the stack but does not publish its off-chain items.
